Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Haynesville walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Basile Bearcats on Saturday as they made off with an 18-8 win. The Golden Tornado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Haynesville moved to 13-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Basile, they now have a losing record of 10-11-2.

Coming up, Haynesville will venture away from home to face off against Oak Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Golden Tornado's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Basile does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
