The Lyon County Lyons will square off against the Muhlenberg County Mustangs at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Lyon County came out on top against Hickman County on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Lyons took their match against the Falcons 8-3. The Lyons have beaten the Falcons the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Falcons has come to flipping the script.
Lilly Perry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.
