Treasure Coast is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while DeLand is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Treasure Coast Titans will take on the DeLand Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Treasure Coast rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 21-12.
Among those leading the charge was George Roberts, who rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, DeLand's offense rose to the challenge against a Titans defense that boasted an average of only 16.5 points allowed. DeLand enjoyed a cozy 31-13 victory over University on Friday.
DeLand got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyron Moore out in front who rushed for 178 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 25 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. Ladamion Bletcher was another key contributor, rushing for 57 yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Treasure Coast to 9-2 and Vero Beach to 9-3.
