When it comes to explaining why Plainfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ala-Meen Watkins. Despite the final result, he rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Watkins was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards. Joel Cordoba also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
West Orange has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Plainfield, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
