Volleyball Recap: Grafton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Grafton, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Bearcats: when they faced off against the Polar Bears back in October, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Grafton was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 25-14, 25-15.

Grafton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Fairmont Senior, they dropped their record down to 8-24 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Grafton and Fairmont Senior will both be playing East Fairmont the next time they take the court. The Polar Bears will host the Bees at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bearcats will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
