Having just played yesterday, the North Creek Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Mariner Marauders at 7:15 p.m. on December 19th. North Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
North Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Renton at home to the tune of 69-31. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-14.
North Creek relied on the efforts of Seirat Bhullar, who scored 24 points along with three steals, and Mikah Hammerquist, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. Hammerquist also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Pinder, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Mariner's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. Their rough 66-40 loss to Cedarcrest might stick with them for a while.
