Moundridge never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Herington Railroaders. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Moundridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Herington, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Moundridge will look to defend their home field on Friday against Remington. As for Herington, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marion at 6:00 p.m. on May 9.
