Lakeside are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Linn on Friday at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Lakeside lost to Rock Hills last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-52. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Lakeside.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-47, which was the final score in Linn's tilt against St. John's/Tipton Catholic. Linn were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
