The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past Mountlake Terrace 13-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Edmonds-Woodway also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Edmonds-Woodway got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rashaad Gerona-chatters out in front who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown. Diego Escandon also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.
Despite the loss, Mountlake Terrace still got an impressive performance from Zaveon Jones, who gained 194 total yards. Jones is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.
Edmonds-Woodway's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mountlake Terrace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Edmonds-Woodway will be staying on the road on October 28th to face off against Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on October 28th. Ferndale will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Mountlake Terrace will take on Stanwood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Stanwood is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
