 The team  relied heavily on  Reid Sutton, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Will Stratman, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Stigler put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Purcell 15-4. Considering Stigler has won six contests by more than five  runs this season,  Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
 Muldrow's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-5. As for Stigler, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Muldrow might still be hurting after the  14-4 defeat they got from Stigler  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023. Can Muldrow avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
