Comstock is 5-0 against Bangor since February of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Comstock Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Bangor Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Comstock is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
On Friday, Comstock suffered a tough 71-46 defeat at the hands of Cassopolis. Comstock has not had much luck with Cassopolis recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Bangor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Centreville at home and fell 73-44. While losing is never fun, Bangor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 646th, while Centreville is ranked 260th).
Comstock has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Comstock beat Bangor 53-44 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Comstock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
