The Lake Buena Vista Vipers will head out on the road to face off against the Olympia Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Lake Buena Vista kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Tohopekaliga on the road and fell 46-16.
Olympia can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Poinciana by a score of 48-36.
Olympia's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ava Pazos, who scored 13 points, and Arlinda Roundtree, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pazos has scored at least 25% of Olympia's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Nethercutt, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Olympia, they pushed their record up to 2-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
