Bloomburg is 0-10 against the Bulldogs since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bloomburg Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Avery Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Bloomburg is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 18-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Bloomburg took a serious blow against the Owls, falling 87-19.
Meanwhile, Avery unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Sulphur Bluff. Avery has struggled against the Bears recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Bloomburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Avery, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-15.
Bloomburg was dealt a bruising 78-39 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January. Can Bloomburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
