The Leeton Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tipton. Leeton lost against Tipton in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 67-63 score last time.
Tipton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zach Moon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson Bailey was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Leeton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Tipton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Leeton will head out on the road to face off against Drexel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tipton, they will be playing at home against La Monte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. La Monte is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
