The Rockmart Yellowjackets put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 83-58 margin over Hokes Bluff. Considering Rockmart has won six matchups by more than 24 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Treylin Davis was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Rockmart's points. Tristan Anderson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds.
Rockmart's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Hokes Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
Rockmart won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Spring Garden at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Spring Garden is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Hokes Bluff, they will square off against Cherokee County at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
