The Hamden Green Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against North Haven, falling 38-7. Hamden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.
Charles Hebron iii and Andrew Revels certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Hebron iii rushed for 141 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, while Revels rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Adam Pandolfi had an outrageously good game for North Haven as he rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Dos Trysten, who rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
Hamden's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North Haven, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamden will take on Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for North Haven, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Amity Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Amity Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 112th, while North Haven is ranked fourth).
