Spring Woods' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trae Pickens, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pickens has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elloy Campos, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Cypress Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Spring Woods, they bumped their record down to 7-17 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Cypress Ridge will challenge Jersey Village at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Jersey Village is ranked 551st, while Cypress Ridge is ranked 556th). As for Spring Woods, they will be playing at home against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
