Madison Rader was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Midland Trail's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Greenbrier West, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Midland Trail has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Greenbrier West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Midland Trail came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenbrier West in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 8-6. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
