Indian Rocks Christian had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-60 to Clearwater Academy International.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Tampa Bay Christian Academy ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They snuck past International School of Broward with a 18-12 win.
Tampa Bay Christian Academy's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Indian Rocks Christian's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Indian Rocks Christian's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Tampa Bay Christian Academy defensive front that amassed 10.5 sacks against International School of Broward, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
