The Clinton County Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the White County Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Clinton County took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on York Institute with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Caleb Thrasher made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Austin Arms was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Chandler Rogers also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, White County hadn't done well against Stone Memorial recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Warriors walked away with an 8-5 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Trenton Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, White County let Kason Seal and Gage Walker run wild. Seal went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Walker went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Seal has become a key player for White County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-15 otherwise.
White County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Clinton County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9. As for White County, their record is now 10-15.
