There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. There's a new number one at the head of the rankings as well as a new caboose.
Have a Day
Liberty got a 22 - 20 win over Liberty North last week, and a key reason for the win was junior Jack Lowery. Lowery ran for 107 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. That performance landed Lowery among the top power-ranked players for the week.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
The Staley offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It put the hurt on Central with a conclusive 60 - 0 victory. At 60 points, that marked Staley's largest margin of victory so far this year. With ten consecutive wins, Staley boasts the longest winning streak of any team in the rankings.
Points Galore
There were a lot of high-scoring contests in the power rankings last week, but the 76-point effort in this one put it right at the top of the list. Everything went Bishop Miege's way against Spring Hill as it secured a 62 - 14 win. Nevertheless, Bishop Miege did not have enough punch to impress the power rankings algorithm and slipped three spots in the rankings.
