That looming 40-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hope Christian Academy yet this season.
Hope Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addyson Wilson, who scored 13 points. Wilson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hunt, who scored ten points.
Hope Christian Academy's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian Academy will square off against Northside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they will head out on the road to take on Open Bible Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Open Bible Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
