The La Vega Pirates can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Gatesville 105-19 at home. The win was familiar territory for La Vega who now have ten in a row.
La Vega's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kiyleyah Parr, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten assists, and 13 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Angela Carroll, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds.
La Vega pushed their record up to 28-8 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.6 points. As for Gatesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.
