The LaBrae Vikings put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Garfield with a sharp 51-28 win. The result was nothing new for LaBrae, who have now won three matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
LaBrae found their leader in underclassman Ella Kuszmaul, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Kuszmaul's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Riley Rowe, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
LaBrae's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Garfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Champion the next time they take the court. Garfield will host Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while LaBrae will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
