The Clarkstown North Rams will be playing at home against the John Jay Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Clarkstown North took a serious blow against Clarkstown South, falling 44-7. While losing is never fun, Clarkstown North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Clarkstown South is ranked 87th).
Meanwhile, John Jay's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Fox Lane by a score of 24-21.
This is the second loss in a row for Clarkstown North and nudges their season record down to 1-6. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 1-6 Pelham Memorial and 3-4 Clarkstown South. As for John Jay, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Things could have been worse for Clarkstown North, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 26-7 loss to John Jay in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Will Clarkstown North have more luck at home instead of on the road?
