Carroll has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Fort Wayne South Side Archers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carroll will be strutting in after a victory while Fort Wayne South Side will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Carroll didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.
Carroll got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaidyn Fuller out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fuller has scored all season. Lily George was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Fort Wayne South Side won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune two weeks ago. They were dealt a 78-20 defeat at the hands of Homestead. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Fort Wayne South Side has suffered yet this season.
Carroll's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Fort Wayne South Side, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
Everything came up roses for Carroll against Fort Wayne South Side when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 71-31 victory. With Carroll ahead 42-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
