Softball Recap: Farmington Has No Trouble Against Northwest Catholic

Farmington had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Northwest Catholic Lions on Monday. Considering the River Hawks have won five matches by more than 13 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Farmington now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Northwest Catholic, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Farmington is set to take on their familiar foe Conard at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwest Catholic will challenge rival Simsbury at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
