Even though the Wabash Apaches have not done well against the Mississinewa Indians recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wabash sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over Mississinewa. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Wabash has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Trevor Daughtry, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Izaak Wright, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Wabash is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Mississinewa, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Mississinewa will take on Elwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Mississinewa is ranked 142nd).
