The Bishop Badgers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over Cigarroa. The win was just what Bishop needed coming off of a 74-35 loss in their prior game.
Donny Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Bishop's points. James Garcia was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Bishop's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Cigarroa, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Bishop's road trip will continue as they head out to face Miller at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Cigarroa, they will be playing at home against Ingleside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
