Pennington came out on top against Locust Fork on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fifth inning. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 14-4 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Aidan McAlpin was a standout: he earned two RBI, three runs, and two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Kaden Cantrell was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pennington's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Locust Fork, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pennington will welcome Danville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Locust Fork, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Susan Moore at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
