For Desert Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 51-40 loss Desert Hot Springs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Desert Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Augustine Youssef led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Youssef's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Desert Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Desert Hot Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
