Meanwhile, Patriot Prep Academy ended up a good deal behind New Lexington last Saturday and lost 48-34. While losing is never fun, Patriot Prep Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while New Lexington is ranked 178th).
Genoa Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Patriot Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Genoa Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 69-24 defeat at the hands of Patriot Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Genoa Christian Academy was down 38-14.
