The Mott Corsairs will head out on the road to face off against the Seaholm Maples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mott is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Even though Franklin scored an imposing 34 points on Saturday, Mott still came out on top. Mott took their contest against Franklin 41-34.
It was another big night for Kalieb Osborne, who rushed for 218 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Geno Seets, who picked up 193 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Seaholm entered their tilt with Groves with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Seaholm came out on top against Groves by a score of 56-49 on Friday. Yes, you read that score correctly, and yes, they were playing football.
Their wins bumped Mott to 8-2 and Seaholm to 9-1.
