It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Sebring Blue Streaks had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Green Devils and snuck past 63-61. The victory was nothing new for Sebring as they're now sitting on five straight.
Sebring's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sylvester Lewis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven blocks. Lewis hasn't dropped below two blocks for 20 straight games. Kj Turner was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six assists and two steals.
Sebring pushed their record up to 18-8 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for St. Petersburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-10.
Sebring will head out on the road to take on Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Braden River has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. St. Petersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
