Sophie Williams made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 7 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jacksonville Christian Academy got a big performance out of Bryleigh Reid, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Cali Sexton was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
