The Lakeside Rams won against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Monday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Lakeside simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Arkansas 57-30 on the road. That looming 57-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lakeside yet this season.
Lakeside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mckenzie Williams, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Reeves, who scored 14 points.
The win (which was Lakeside's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Arkansas, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Lakeside will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Wynne at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Wynne is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Arkansas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (El Dorado is ranked 171st, while Arkansas is ranked 188th).
