Rogers is a perfect 10-0 against Curtis since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rogers has 15 straight victories, Curtis has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Rogers let Emerald Ridge stack four runs on them in the fifth inning on Wednesday but luckily Rogers prevailed anyway. The Rams skirted past the Jaguars 8-7.

Sierra Murray was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton Walling, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and one double while going 3-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Vernon, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Rogers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Curtis lost 18-2 to Puyallup on Wednesday.
Melanie Spivey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.
Rogers pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Curtis, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
Curtis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rogers hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .337. It's a different story for Curtis, though, as they've only averaged .226. Will they be able to contain Rogers' hitters?
Rogers took their win against Curtis in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 22-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
