The Genesee Wolves suffered their biggest  loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Bendle 85-51. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Genesee in their matchups with Bendle: they've now lost six in a row.
 Defeat or not, Genesee got some senior leadership from  Aiden Croak and  Connor Rouse.  Croak  scored 17 points along with nine  rebounds and seven  blocks, while  Rouse.  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 11  rebounds. That was a full 43.1% of Genesee's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Q Bannoura, who  scored six points.
 It was another big night for  Elijah Boyd, who  went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 5 assists for Bendle. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Boyd has scored all season.  Malis Firman was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with eight  assists and two  steals.
 Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bendle, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Lothrop at 7:00  p.m.  on January 30th. As for Bendle, they will head out on the road to  face off against  New Standard Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
