Cary-Grove won the last time they faced Fremd and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Vikings. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Cary-Grove's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Fremd, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-2-1.

Coincidentally, Cary-Grove and Fremd will both be playing Hersey the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Huskies at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
