Another player making a difference was  Jaysee Rubio, who  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
 Downey's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Turlock, their win bumped their record up to 11-9-1.
 Downey will head out on the road to  challenge  Pitman at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pitman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season. As for Turlock, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Enochs at 12:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Enochs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Turlock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
