Glen Spencer posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Spencer couldn't lead KIPP Atlanta Collegiate over Carver, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
