The Faustina Academy Falcons lost to the Lakewood Presbyterian Knights back in January of 2018, but the Faustina Academy Falcons didn't allow the Lakewood Presbyterian Knights the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Faustina Academy strolled past Lakewood Presbyterian with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. Faustina Academy pushed the score to 39-11 by the end of the third, a deficit Lakewood Presbyterian cut but never quite recovered from.
Lakewood Presbyterian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maya Kinson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoeh Kinson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
The victory makes it two in a row for Faustina Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faustina Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they will take on Faustina Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
