Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Douglas, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nipmuc Regional on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Douglas in their matchups with Nipmuc Regional: they've now lost four in a row.
Whitinsville Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Douglas, their defeat was their tenth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-9.
Everything came up roses for Whitinsville Christian against Douglas in their previous meeting on January 5th as the squad secured a 44-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitinsville Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
