The Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Dynamic Prep. Cardinal Ritter College Prep suffered a tough 70-50 defeat at the hands of Dynamic Prep. Cardinal Ritter College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dynamic Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jermaine O'Neal Jr., who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. O'Neal Jr. is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leon Horner, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Dynamic Prep, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cardinal Ritter College Prep will take on Whitfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Cardinal Ritter College Prep is ranked eighth). Dynamic Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on iSchool of Lewisville at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st.
