Forsan is 6-0 against Reagan County since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Forsan Buffaloes will head out on the road to square off against the Reagan County Owls at 6:30 p.m. Forsan will be strutting in after a win while Reagan County will be coming in after a defeat.
Forsan posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They skirted past Sterling City 29-26.
Meanwhile, Reagan County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sonora. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reagan County in their matchups with Sonora: they've now lost four in a row.
Forsan's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Reagan County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
Forsan was able to grind out a solid victory over Reagan County in their previous meeting on January 2nd, winning 36-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forsan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
