The Raymond Seagulls will head out on the road to square off against the North Beach Hyaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raymond is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
On Saturday, Raymond came up short against Elma and fell 52-42. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Raymond in their matchups with Elma: they've now lost three in a row.
North Beach suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Saturday. They were outmatched by Forks at home and fell 68-31. North Beach has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Raymond has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for North Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Raymond came out on top in a nail-biter against North Beach in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, sneaking past 57-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Raymond since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
