The Ballard Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Miami Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Ballard and 12 for Miami dating back to last season.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 45-12, which was the final score in Ballard's tilt against Sheldon on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ballard has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Miami was beaten by Bronaugh 63-8 on Tuesday. Miami was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-7.
Ballard dropped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
Ballard took their win against Miami when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 62-37. Will Ballard repeat their success, or does Miami have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
