Catholic is 3-0 against Central since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Catholic Bears will square off against the Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: Byrd, who was ranked 12th at the time (Catholic was ranked 12th). Catholic came out on top against Byrd by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Meanwhile, Central hasn't lost a match since November 13, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game back in December of 2024. Everything went their way against Franklinton as Central made off with a 6-1 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-4 record this season.

Everything went Catholic's way against Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Catholic made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Catholic since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
