Paxton's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kenzie Lassiter, who  posted ten  points.  Alyssa Carson was another key player,  putting up ten points.
 Paxton was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Central strolled past Pensacola Christian Academy with  points to spare on Thursday, taking the game  50-36. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Jaguars.
 Paxton has also been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record  this season. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
