Even though Grace Prep have not done well against the Quantico Warriors recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Grace Prep walked away with a 27-14 victory over Quantico. This was payback for Grace Prep, who suffered a 39-14 loss the last time these two teams met.
Grace Prep's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Quantico, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road.
Grace Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northern Virginia HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Quantico won't have much time to rest: their next game is against The Carmel School at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th.
